Gino Yachting, established in 1973, is a leading figure in Turkey's yachting tourism and a member of several prestigious organisations, including the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies (TÜRSAB), the Association of Yacht Support Services (AYSS), the Izmir Italian Chamber of Commerce, the Yacht Club de France, and the Chamber of Maritime Commerce.

With its headquarters at Netsel Marina in Marmaris and branch offices along the Turkish coast, Gino Yachting offers year-round services through a multilingual team, catering to the needs of yachts of all sizes, their clients, and their crew.

Gino Marine and Gino Marine Technical Services provide a comprehensive range of services, including yacht services, international yacht brokerage, yacht charter, and technical support. Our motto is “EXCELLENCE IN SERVICE”.

Gino Pardo

The Father of Yachting Industry in Turkey  ·  1937–2020

Gino Pardo was born on June 5, 1937, in Izmir, as the child of a family that embraced multiple cultures. He began his education at Saint Joseph French School and completed his higher education in the field of Chemical Engineering. Pardo worked in various sectors for many years, initially focusing on chemistry-related jobs and later gaining experience in different areas such as translation based on his proficiency in foreign languages.

He ventured into the carpet trade in Kuşadası, where he took his first steps in the business world. In 1973, recognising the potential of the yachting industry, he founded Gino Yachting. At that time, there were no boat mooring facilities in Kuşadası. They collaborated with the municipality to construct pilings where boats could dock, and started providing services to incoming yachts.

Expanding Gino Yachting, he opened branches in different parts of Turkey. By strategically selecting locations such as Bodrum, Marmaris, Göcek, and Istanbul, he began providing services in the coastal areas with the highest yachting density. He took over the representation of the Italian Azimut brand in Turkey, successfully promoting and representing the brand in the Turkish market.

Gino Pardo was a colourful character with boundless energy. With his foresight and fatherly demeanour, he played the roles of a boss, a teacher, and a father to everyone at different times. He had a great love for animals and became the parent to many living creatures and dogs. Pardo spoke Turkish, French, English, German, Greek, Spanish, and Italian fluently.

Although we lost Gino Pardo in 2020, we continue to uphold his work ethics and principles. We strive to carry on this legacy entrusted to us with the highest standards of customer satisfaction and quality. The vision and dedication of Gino Pardo still form the foundations of our company today.
